Denver New Homes
Whether you’re looking for land to build on or a Denver new home, find a local real estate agent to help you through the process. The first decision you’ll want to make is where in the city you prefer to live. For better views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, you’ll probably want to start your search in the suburbs that lie on the outskirts of downtown, or possibly look at a city just outside the Denver area, such as Boulder, Colo.
On the other hand, if you want views of the gorgeous city lights and you want to be closer to excellent public transportation, buying a Denver new home in the heart of downtown may be for you. No matter where you decide to live, there are plenty of opportunities for buying a Denver new home.
New condominiums with a community trail system and a 1.5-acre park can be found for $114,000. For $2.2 million you can buy a four-bedroom, six-bathroom condominium with reflecting pools, terraced gardens and rooftop decks. This particular residence boasts 6,338 square feet of living area.
You can find a coach house for just $241,000 that is close to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. If you decide to build, many contractors offer package deals that include lots, or you can find your own private lot for anywhere from $30,000 to $800,000.
First-time home buyers
So many years go by between home purchases that even if you’re not a first-time buyer, you might find a refresher useful. Make a list of questions that you want answered, and set up interviews with at least three local real estate agents. A good agent will give you 30 minutes to an hour of his or her time to familiarize you with what to expect when you begin the home-buying process.
